The 8th session of the national ministerial meeting for trade-related technical measure was held by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People¡¯s Republic of China in Beijing on June 20. Over 40 representatives from Ministry of Commerce , National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology etc 18 departments. Vice minister Yi Xiaozhun was present and addressed meeting .The problem of raising standard and issuing new technology law by foreign countries to affect international trade recently years, especially the foreign country¡¯s concern on quality security and news report in the first half of this year were discussed in this conference.

At the invitation of director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Li Changjiang .Vice minister Yi introduced the situation of foreign trade of the first half year in the meeting, he reported the main work of Ministry of Commerce on foreign technical measures for trade especially the security of export food ,the investigation of technical barriers to trade, counter measures of REACH law of EU and affirmative list in Japan.
